Listening to you

Our community is at the heart of all my work, whether I’m here in Adelaide or at Parliament House in Canberra.

I’m not one of those MPs who just turns up at election time. I’m always out and about listening to residents and engaging with our local community groups and businesses.

This is so that I understand the issues affecting you and your family.

I want to make life easier - whether that's by fixing a local road that affects your daily commute to drop the children at school or by working to ease cost of living pressures like lowering your power bill -  I am committed to understanding our community’s concerns and taking action.

I am also here to provide assistance with government departments and agencies such as Centrelink, NDIS or MyAgedCare and to liaise with Cabinet Ministers on key areas of policy such as Health, Veterans' Affairs and Social Services.

There is no greater privilege than serving our community.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch about what is important to you.

Listening posts at shopping centres

Listening posts at local shopping centres - including Westfield Marion, Mitcham Square, Darlington, Glenelg and Parkholme -  are a great way to hear directly from residents about the issues affecting our community.

Speaking with locals at the door

With over 82,000 homes in Boothby, I'm always out in the electorate doorknocking and asking residents what they want to see delivered for our community, from local road upgrades to major infrastructure projects.

Working with our community groups

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community and I attend many events in support of their work each week. It's an excellent way to stay connected and thank our local organisations - including our dedicated CFS, RSL and Surf Life Saving Club volunteers - for everything they do.

Street corner meetings

I regularly hold street corner meetings to make sure you have the opportunity to speak with me close to your home. Look out for information in your letterbox about upcoming street corner meetings in your area and come say hi!
