A re-elected Morrison Government will provide $100,000 to deliver new unisex changeroom facilities at Glenelg Baseball Club.
Nicolle Flint said the upgrade was much needed to cater for the growing player numbers at the club.
“Delivering upgraded shower and changeroom facilities for the Glenelg Baseball Club will support the club to grow their membership, particularly as female participation in the sport increases,” Ms Flint said.
“I am so proud to support the club and ensure they have access to the facilities that meet the needs of their players and members.”
“We want even more men and women of all ages getting involved in grassroots sports, and in our local community, and ensuring our local clubs have appropriate changeroom facilities will support that goal.”
Federal funding for new unisex changerooms at the Glenelg Baseball Club is only possible because of the Morrison Government’s plan for a stronger economy.
“Only the Liberals and Nationals have a proven track record when it comes to managing the Budget,” Ms Flint said.
“By paying down debt and growing the economy, we can afford to deliver funding for priorities in local communities such as upgrading the facilities at Glenelg Baseball Club.
“This is all at risk under Labor and Bill Shorten who pose the greatest risk to Australia’s economy in a generation with plans for $387 billion in new taxes on small and family businesses, retirees, housing, income, investments, electricity and cars”.
