Coastal Erosion in South Australia

My electorate of Boothby is home to one of South Australia's best stretches of coastline, particularly in Adelaide. From North Glenelg to Marino, I am fortunate to represent such a beautiful part of the world and the dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to maintain and care for our beaches, our native vegetation and our coastline.

Women in the ADF

A diverse Defence Force better reflects our community and ensures we can draw on different ideas to innovate and adapt to a rapidly evolving strategic environment. A diverse Defence Force means we have the very best capability at a time when national security is at the forefront of our national agenda. Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club & OneSchool Global SA beach-for-all program

I recently visited the Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club to thank the president, Dr Glen Patten OAM, the immediate past president, Andrew Chandler, and all of the club's wonderful volunteers for their efforts to improve access to our beaches for people living with a disability. The club pioneered a beach-for-all program. Their beach access mat enables wheelchairs to get onto the beach and right down to the water's edge, and a submersible wheelchair and disability-friendly surfboard help get people into the water. Now, thanks the generosity of students at OneSchool Global in Adelaide, Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club can purchase another submersible wheelchair and surfboard.

Appropriation Bill (No. 1) 2019-2020 and related Bills

Appropriation Bill (No. 1) 2019-20 and cognate bills really go to the heart of what we are doing as the Morrison government to deliver on our plan for a strong economy. There are a range of elements to our plan for a strong economy, which we took to the Australian people at the May 2019 election, and they're all really important things that we will be doing for the Australian people.
