Recently I praised a local teacher in Parliament, Dr Samantha Moyle of Brighton Secondary School, who last night was awarded Australia’s highest science teaching honour.
On Saturday 12 October my state colleague Sam Duluk MP and I joined the Unley Mercedes Jets Football Club, including President David Heaslip and his committee, players, coaches, volunteers and members and guests, to celebrate the end of a very successful season. There certainly was a lot to celebrate.
My electorate of Boothby is home to one of South Australia's best stretches of coastline, particularly in Adelaide. From North Glenelg to Marino, I am fortunate to represent such a beautiful part of the world and the dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to maintain and care for our beaches, our native vegetation and our coastline.

This Sunday, 22 September 2019, the Glenelg Football Club will take on Port Adelaide in the SANFL grand final at Adelaide Oval. Go, Tigers!

On Friday 13 September, the Blackwood Football Club had the grand opening of their brand new change rooms. I joined my state colleagues, the Minister for Sport, Corey Wingard, and local member for Waite, Sam Duluk, along with City of Mitcham councillors, SANFL representatives, club members and guests, for this very special occasion.
