Over the past three years as the Member for Boothby, I have worked very hard to deliver for my local community and I stand on my strong record of service to my community.
While Labor and their Union and GetUp! mates are focussed on staging election stunts and bombarding local residents with negative personal attacks on me, I am getting on with the job of delivering for my community.
This morning, while Union protestors were waving signs outside my electorate office and GetUp! was staging a photo opportunity at Glenelg, I was attending a local community event where I listened to local students and their parents about what issues are important to them.
Only the Federal Liberal Government is getting on with lowering taxes, creating jobs and delivering the essential services people need. We can afford to do all of this because our plan for a stronger economy is working for my local community and for all Australians.
I am proud to have worked with my community to deliver a range of projects from congestion busting infrastructure upgrades to providing new facilities for local clubs and community groups, including:
- Oaklands Crossing Grade Separation
- Hove Rail Crossing Upgrade
- Reactivating the Repat Hospital site
- Brighton Oval Complex Upgrade
- Fullarton / Cross Road Intersection Upgrade
- Blackwood Football Club Upgrade
- New Visitor Centre at Carrick Hill
I will continue to be out in my community, doorknocking, holding listening posts and attending community events and doing all I can to deliver on the projects and policies that my community tell me are important to them.
